McDonald's Happy Meal

Below you will find a link to an article published in Yahoo News Canada.

http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s//yahoocanada/101013/canada/mcdonald_s_happy_meal_resists_decomposition_for_six_months

After reading this article, select and read...

[Did you know? Before the Happy Meal, there was the Fun Meal]

Is this a credible source of information?  Why or why not?  How do you know?

Your Task:

1)  In pairs, you will create your own healthy 'fun meal'.  You should aim to include the four food groups, an appealing box/container, and a toy or puzzle that will encourage kids to buy it.

2) Independently, you will write a short newspaper article promoting your happy meal.  You can discuss the evolution of the happy meal/fast food and be sure to incorporate why your 'happy meal' is the better alternative.
